Welcome to Kannada Sangha Queensland (KSQ) Inc.

"Chandana-Brisbane" is the official web site of KSQ.

'Kannada Sangha QLD', a registered non-profit organisation, comprises mainly Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast residents hailing from the Kannada speaking state of Karnataka in India.

Sangha’s main objective is to share our common Indian and Karnataka heritage for the benefit of our families and the wider community. This also includes our representation among other community groups in Queensland.

The sangha aims to promote Indian and Kannada culture, philosophy, beliefs and tradition for the benefit of local community. 
The sangha organises regular Kannada cultural shows, festivals & cultural training and workshops.

Sangha's mission is to strengthen the Kannada community of Brisbane by providing a forum to pursue religious, literary, cultural, educational, community development and charity/service activities. It is a voluntary organization primarily run by donations and memberships from interested members of the general public.

 Currently, the Sangha celebrates Indian festivities and hosts several picnics and outings throughout the year. Our signature event is the Kannada Rajyotstava Day in November every year when all families come together to present a wholesome entertain programme.

There are so many reasons why one should consider becoming part of our Sangha he or she believes in. By this website "Chandana-Brisbane", we hope to get our message out to a larger audience of people interested in similar interests.
